September, 16 2007 Hello, We have a docs file who needs to be updated, because the Setting Password command has been changed Go to the directory http://docs.dal.net/xml/nickserv/ Choose the english folder Open the http://docs.dal.net/xml/nickserv/en/nickserv-1.1.3.xml , then go in the section 6, scroll to the subsections 6.1: Changing your Password And search the line:

The above command would have changed your old password of "ILovePeanutButter" to "ILovePB". Upon a successful password change, users will be sent a confirmation email to the set email address notifying them of a password change. No password will be included in the email. It is simply a way to know that the password has been changed. If you did not issue the change, you will be aware of it and have time to take action to prevent further damage. There is a 72 hour (3 days) delay between issuing the commands SET PASSWD and SET EMAIL. A new password cannot be set within 72 hours of an email address change, and an email address change cannot be requested within 72 hours of a password change.

Change this line in your language to:

That auth code can be used for 72 hours to roll back the password change. There is a 72 hour (3 days) delay between issuing the commands SET PASSWD and SET EMAIL. Translate the document in your own language and set the filename as nickservxx-1.1.4.xml (where xx is you language acronym). Version number will be 1.1.4 after parsing. That's all :) Thank you. Zappu if you have any question about the document please mail me at zappu.dalnet@gmail.com or memo me.
