Open the DALnet Web Hosting Services file: 1) Under Introduction Scroll to paragraph 2, where it reads: DALnet allows its users to have their own homepage that is dedicated to either their nickname or their channel for free. Each nickname and channel has 5MB webspace allocated to it. Delete this paragraph and add the following: DALnet allows its users to have their own homepage that is dedicated to their channel for free. Each channel has 5MB webspace allocated to it. The nicknames websites are temporarily suspended (for more information see below). 3) Under "home.dal.net" Add the following line at the beginning of the section: "DALnet made it easy for its users to have their own website dedicated to their nicknames for free, which were located at home.dal.net." 4) Under channels.dal.net After the following sentences: DALnet users can create webpages dedicated to their channel. Using DALnet's web hosting services, users can create their channel home page and then upload it using a standard FTP client to channels.dal.net. Add this sentence: In order to use this service, your channel will have to be at least 14 days registered. Scroll and find Like home.dal.net, and delete it. Then add: Users are allocated 5 MB of web space... " (as it is in the previous version) 3) Under How to access channels.dal.net Scroll and find the URL http://cserv.ius.edu/moreFTP.htm and delete it, then replace it for http://www.cs.colostate.edu/helpdocs/ftp.html 4) Under HTML Editors Scroll and find the bullet text that reads: VI (for Unix), available at http://www.lls.se/~johanb/august/august0.62b.wrp.tar.gz and replace it for: VIM Vi Improved- (for Unix), available at: http://www.vim.org 5) Under FTP Clients Scroll to the last paragraph and delete it.
