MemoServ allows DALnet users that have a registered nickname, to send each other brief messages (memos) while one of them is offline. When the receiver of the memo connects to DALnet and identifies to his (her) nickname, MemoServ warns him (her) that they have a new memo. This Service is very useful, if used properly.
