<title>Another /ignore patterns</title>

<p> There are several ways to use the magical <command>/ignore</command> command in IRC. The following is a listing of the various ignore combinations and what they cover.</p>

       <item><title>/ignore HotChique</title><p>  <emphasis>This pattern will *ONLY* ignore the nick of HotChique, no matter what IP/host he is using: HotChique!*@*</emphasis></p></item>
       <item><title>/ignore HotChique 2</title><p>  <emphasis>This pattern will ignore the FULL host of HotChique, no matter what nickname he is using: *!*@31.203.9.51</emphasis></p></item>
       <item><title>/ignore HotChique 3</title><p>  <emphasis>This pattern will ignore a particular *user@host.*, no matter which nick they happen to be using at the time: *!*doogs@31.203.9.*</emphasis></p></item>
       <item><title>/ignore HotChique 4</title><p>  <emphasis>This pattern will ignore a particular *!*@host.*, no matter which nick!user they happen to be using at the time: *!*@31.203.9.*</emphasis></p></item>
