Another /ignore patterns

There are several ways to use the magical /ignore command in IRC. The following is a listing of the various ignore combinations and what they cover.

/ignore HotChique

This pattern will *ONLY* ignore the nick of HotChique, no matter what IP/host he is using: HotChique!*@*

/ignore HotChique 2

This pattern will ignore the FULL host of HotChique, no matter what nickname he is using: *!*@31.203.9.51

/ignore HotChique 3

This pattern will ignore a particular *user@host.*, no matter which nick they happen to be using at the time: *!*doogs@31.203.9.*

/ignore HotChique 4

This pattern will ignore a particular *!*@host.*, no matter which nick!user they happen to be using at the time: *!*@31.203.9.*

/ignore HotChique 5

This pattern will ignore a particular nick!user@host, you would then see something that looks like: HotChique!doogs@31.203.9.51

/ignore HotChique 6

This pattern will ignore a particular nick!*user@host, you would then see something that looks like: HotChique!*doogs@31.203.9.51

/ignore HotChique 7

This pattern will ignore a particular nick!*@host, you would then see something that looks like: HotChique!*@31.203.9.51
